These are robots. The one on the left is named Sphero. Sphero is basically a robotic orb that you can program to do various different things. Such things as changing colors, changing speeds, and much more. The one on the right is named Ollie. Ollie is another invention from the creators of Sphero that can do other cool tricks. These tricks include jumping and doing a 360 degree turn. It can even race with Sphero!

But this question is probably on your mind: What classes should these robots be used in? Well, here is a short list showing you both what classes in which you can use these, and what you can do with them in your classes:
1. Science:
In science, these robots can help with coding and programming. We know that a lot of computer scientists obviously have to deal with coding different things, so these robots that you can use reflect the work of different scientists. Scientists even used programming and coding to make these robots! These can be used by any of the Sphero apps that you can see downloaded in the Sphero videos. Ipads, Iphones, and anything over ios 6.0 can be used to control these robots for science.
2. Social Studies:
For Social Studies, Sphero and Ollie relate to the discovery of the first technology. I'm sure that we can remember the first made computers and phones, but now that we can relate to the new history of technology, we know that robots can be used to convey the technological advances that people have provided for us. Again, you can still use Ipads, Iphones, and anything over ios 6.0. The main app that you can use for this subject is the main Sphero app itself! Aside from researching the invention of robots, it is still interesting to find out how they move.
3. Mathematics:
During your math class, I am sure that some of your students find it to be boring. But, if you bring this into your classes, your students will surely be very interested. People who work for math companies surely use coding to make and solve the different math problems that you answer almost every day. Again, use the devices that I have mentioned two times before. The main apps that you will want to use for this include Sphero MacroLab and Sphero OrBasic.
4. Half-Periods (Art Classes, Computer Classes, STEM)
If you have looked over the different Sphero apps, I am sure that you have noticed sphero Draw & Drive. This app, as you already know, can change the colors of Sphero at random intervals. This can be used in the different art classes to teach about colors, obviously. In computer classes, these can obviously be used as robots for programming and coding. Use MacroLab and OrBasic for this class. In STEM, any of these apps can be used because all of them relate to what the children are learning in this class.
